Realigning The Project Management Framework For A Changing Power & Utilities Sector

Realigning The Project Management Framework For A Changing Power & Utilities Sector

OVERVIEW

REQUEST FOR ACCESS FORM BELOW

As the Power and Utilities sector enters a transformational era brought about by multiple drivers, it is examining and building innovative strategic and execution responses. As it responds, capital portfolio profiles for owners and operators will rapidly change to incorporate project scope and services that they may have not executed before. Therefore, it is imperative that the sector assesses the traditional project management approach to realign processes and build teams with new skillsets.

Now offering Certificates of Completion for all our Webinars.

As the industry responds with innovative business strategies to disruptive technologies, market competition, new customer engagement patterns, and a changing regulatory landscape, it must also look to realigning its supporting project delivery methodology. Capital portfolios will rapidly move away from projects that have typically fallen in the “we have done this before” to a mix of traditional and projects that incorporate scope and services that owners and operators may not have executed before. Project teams may find that the impacts of competitive, environmental, and social media drivers are no longer exclusive to large, public projects and they must remain response-ready to such macro-level factors. In response, they will need to rethink the current project management approach and restructure processes appropriately to successfully meet the new paradigm shift.

In this informative webinar, Herschel Baxi, Managing Director, and Muhammad Aslam, Senior Consultant, from CARIAN, share their recommendations on how organizations could -
